Oyo State International Agribusiness Summit 2025
The Oyo State International Agribusiness Summit 2025 is a strategic event designed to drive the expansion of Oyo State’s economy through Agribusiness. In partnership with the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA), the summit builds on the successes of the 2021 edition, which recorded over 2,000 participants and 50 exhibitors. In alignment with Governor Seyi Makinde’s vision to position the State as Nigeria’s Agribusiness hub, this year’s edition will feature investment-ready projects, scalable value chains, and enabling policies, with over 5,000 participants and about 70 exhibitors expected to attend.
Themed "Expanding Oyo State Economy through Agricultural Industrialization," the 2025 summit is a transformative two-day gathering of key stakeholders across the Agribusiness ecosystem. It is designed to convene public and private sector actors, development partners, financial institutions, investors, entrepreneurs, youth-led enterprises, academic researchers, and civil society groups to work together on practical steps for advancing Agribusiness in Oyo State.
The summit will feature keynote addresses from prominent leaders and experts, high-level panel sessions addressing topical issues across key value chains, and a vibrant exhibition of food products, agri-innovations, tools, technologies, and services tailored to the needs of stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.
Across both days, delegates will participate in a dynamic programme of conference sessions and exhibitions aimed at discussing the evolving landscape of Agricultural investment, assessing the impact of existing interventions, and co-developing solutions to current and emerging challenges within the sector. The summit will conclude with a Guided tour of the Oyo State Agribusiness Transformation Centre, Fasola, offering attendees a practical look into one of the State’s flagship Agribusiness development projects.
Ultimately, the Oyo State International Agribusiness Summit 2025 is more than a gathering; it is a catalyst for long-term impact. By strengthening networks, fostering investment, and enabling policy alignment, the summit reinforces Oyo State’s position as a preferred destination for Agribusiness investment in Nigeria and West Africa.
